Post Class Blog 9/5/12

After class, it was much easier to understand the concepts and ideas of both Saussure and Barthes were trying to say. I could not agree more with the Saussure's quote "Without language, the thought is a vague, uncharted nebula." Also, the language and signs are from of promise that practiced by with in communities and they could change over time. Language and signs evolves through time, and their meaning and uses change through what is needed in certain time. It was very interesting how signs and language were used in marketing and other businesses.
